TOPIC: THE GREAT
PHYSICIAN
HYMN: The Great Physician now is here.
A physician is a healer. Until we say a physician is a
healer, we have said nothing.
Before you can become a physician, there is a long process
of training, one of the longest training anyone can ever have to be qualified.
It takes 4 years to be an accountant, but 7 years to become a
physician. An engineer is for 5 years.
A surgery is a complex process and u need follow up. No
physician heals without some processes involved. No physician can heal every
sickness and every disease. He narrows down the area of practice whether a
surgeon, pediatrician, psychiatrist etc. 1st degree is for a baby
physician. You now narrow down to one aspect of medicine.
Though specializing helps a physician to be the best, it
actually limits them eventually. And they are so limited that some experts
specialize on ear, nose and throat. So limited that some can specialize in ear,
nose and throat for children not for adult. A psychiatrist doctor cannot even
solve all psychiatry problems.
When a man keeps his life on a doctor, they are very limited
in their expertise and specialization. So, not every doctor can help a woman to
get pregnant.
A great physician can only be great according to his area of
specialization. So, in a big hospital, they need to bring in a doctor in a
particular specialty to help you. Therefore, no human doctor qualifies to be
called a great physician. They can expire, his knowledge dies with him. He
cannot continue to heal at death. He is only useful when he is alive. Once he
dies, everything about him ends.
I hereby present the Great physician, healing though not
physically with us. His healing transcends generations; He has answer for all
problems. Surpass every physician that ever lives to heal.
He heals chronic sicknesses, heals the ears, eyes,
intestine, legs, not limited in any sense of the word. He heals physical,
emotion. He heals all cases brought to Him.
Mat 4: 26- Mat. 8:16. With just one word, He heals all
sicknesses. Mat 9:35 Went to all villages and cities, whatever the sickness
was, He healed the people.
Mat 11: 2-5 John in prison, sent to meet Jesus, are you the
one or not? Go tell him what you see and what you hear. The blind saw, deaf
heard, lame walk, lepers cleansed, poor became healed of their poverty.
Mat 14: 34-36, in Genesarret, they gather all their sick
people, just to touch His garment and all were healed regardless of what was
wrong with them. All who touched were made well.
Luke 4:40 Evening time, laid His hands upon them and healed
them.
In different places, different times, He handled all cases,
no matter the location. An encounter with Jesus brought healing. You will
experience the touch of God this morning.
Heb. 13:8 Jesus the same yesterday, and today and forever.
What He did then, He will do now. It does not matter what is wrong with you and
for how long, it doesn’t matter what anybody has said about you, the diagnoses
and doctor’s report. Doctors usually say it is an opinion of theirs. Jesus
heals because He is the
great physician.
In Acts 3. A man was born lame and never walked from his
mother’s womb. They are just helping him to live his life by bringing him to
the gate called beautiful. Till Peter and John were passing by and they said,
LOOK at us. They commanded him at the name of Jesus of Nazareth: he walked.
A business can be lame when not making progress. You may be
lame physically, emotionally, financially, Jesus will cause you to walk again.
Acts 9. Bedridden for 8 years. There is nothing anybody
could do for him, Peter said Ananias
Jesus heals you and he was healed. They may have carried you here but you will
walk out with your own legs in Jesus name.
Acts 16: 16-18. A young lady possessed by evil spirit, hears
and see vision by evil spirit, owners make money out of her, they can’t help
her and she couldn’t help herself. Paul commanded the evil spirits to leave her
and they left. Evil spirits torment so many, the same Jesus is here now to heal
you of all your torments in Jesus name.
Some cannot sleep
and it is an abuse now, from today, no more in Jesus name. The great physician
Is here and He
came because of your case and He will do what no man can do for you.
A woman in her late fifties, arthritis attacked her;
fingers, toes, hands, standing and sitting became problems; we told her Jesus
can heal arthritis without drugs and close to 80 years now, the arthritis never
came back.
Look at yourself and say anything
tieing you down should hear the word of God and leave you alone.
A young lady that was abused by her step father, she was
sick emotionally. Men desired her just to sleep with her. She knew it was not
normal, she could not find a solution, she came and cried to Jesus. We
introduced her to Jesus the great physician, she became free and could live her
life normally without fear anymore.
Sometimes you can’t talk about your problem to a deliverance
minister. A man had a particular sickness that recalls again and again, when
that sickness was about to come again at a particular time (MIGRAINE is the
name). Like pounding yam on his head,
2-3 times in one year, he refers to it as his sickness. He said Jesus it is
either you heal me or I die. Jesus you carried it I don’t have to carry it
anymore. Show me that you have carried it because I don’t want to carry it
anymore. Same night Jesus appeared and took away the sickness from his life.
A welder woke up one morning and realized he has gone blind
due to exposure to the light. He was newly married with a small child, they led
him to church. Even though the eyes were opened but he couldn’t see again. I
told him there is a physician that can heal you immediately. He said he
believes. Hands were laid on him and prayed, the eyes were opened immediately.
He shouted I can see and that was all. Five minutes blindness is terrible. No
matter how old the blindness is, the great physician will touch you now.
1 Sam 30. David was a commander, they live by fighting wars.
Not a successful one this time around. Before they got back home, all the
houses were burnt down, wives, animals etc were taken away. In one day, he went
from being rich to being poor, from very successful to absolute failure. They
didn’t know where to start from. Then he encouraged himself and went to God in
prayer. He said how can I have the covenant of God and all these things are
happening to me. God said, David, you will recover.
May be you wonder HOW
will it happen?
When you go to doctors, you don’t know how they are going to
do it, you don’t ask them too. So why not trust God HE will do it. He will heal
you from your losses. How will it be is not your business.
Mark 2, a man bedridden, can’t talk, they just took him
through the roof, let’s get him to the presence of Jesus is all that matters to
them. They opened the roof and brought the man down. Jesus saw their faith,
today your problem is over, carry your bed and go home. Jesus healed the man.
David recovered all, he had abundance and more than enough to give to other
people. You too will have more than enough to give to other people. No more
borrowing as the great physician will heal you of your poverty.
Many people don’t die completely at once, it’s a gradual
death, but whatever is dead in y our body will be healed by the great physician
today. Whatever is dead will receive new life today in Jesus name. It has
nothing to do with your age, growing older does not mean you should become a
burden. Old people can live a normal life, so expect his touch even in old age.
Get the touch of the great physician. Come to him clean of
sin, bitterness, and unforgiveness. There is a connection between sin and
sickness, disease and sickness. Whatever is called sin, come clean of it. When
you are harbouring unforgiveness and bitterness, it is the same sin as murder.
You can’t transfer it to the person who robbed you. Confess your bitterness and
unforgiveness. When you do that, you have freed your mind. It makes your
healing to last. No more sins, no more bitterness, no more unforgiveness.
Someone who is sick can be offended that they are not taking care of him very
well.

Come with expectation: even if it is only one
person that will be healed then it must be me today o Lord. In the midst of
this multitude, Father I am the one you will touch today.

Cry out for mercy: when you cry for mercy, you
admit you don’t have any power of my own. You know there is no other way. Jesus
never turn deaf hear to the cry of mercy. No matter what is wrong with you, if
you cry for mercy, the mercy of Jesus will speak for you. Luke 10- Blind Bartimaeus cried. They tried to stop
him, but he cried the more. It’s a cry that God will never turn back. Ten lepers saw Jesus afar off and
were crying have mercy, Jesus stood still, look at them and as they were going
they were blessed. Even if all of us cry out at once for mercy, the mercy is
enough to go round. He can be healing the blind, at the same time heal the
lame, the halt, the paralysed, all at the same time. Just dive into it with
your cry this morning.
PRAYERS:
Whatever has been the hindrance up till now, Father, please
forgive me. Whatever that will not allow
you to look in my direction, please forgive me.
Ayotunde (mention your name), today the great physician is here and you are the
one He will heal, Father, I am the one you will touch, you will open my hears
and my eyes and show me great things that my eyes cannot understand or
comprehend. Open my ears, open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of
your law o my Father. My body you can’t hold me down, nothing can stop me
anymore.
Father, whatever it is that the enemy is using to torment
me, today I am before the great physician, you can’t hold me back anymore in
Jesus name. spiritual blindness, hear the voice of God, you cannot hold me back
anymore. Leave me alone and let me go. Paralysis, poverty, blindness,
disappointment, disgrace, timidity, all curses, a person, lameness, barrenness,
can’t stop me anymore.
Jesus, the great physician, have mercy on me, touch me, heal
me, deliver me, fight my battles, give me victory. In mercy, Father open my
eyes, heal your church, my marriage, my ministry, my body, my emotions,
spiritual blindness and deafness. I have
no excuse, just have mercy on me the great physician. You have done it for others, Father, let it be
my own turn o Lord. Have mercy upon me Jesus. To win multitudes to your
kingdom, millions, young and old, rich and poor, to pull down the works of the
devil and his agents, to show the world that you are Lord that you are real,
the world should not continue to laugh at me. You restored David and all he
lost, Father, let there be restoration for me also.
